What we collect

FishUT works without an account. If you follow waters or subscribe to reports, we store your email address and your list of followed waters and alert rules. If you're a FishUT Pro member and set up text alerts, we also store your mobile phone number. Our payment processor, Stripe, handles all billing — FishUT never sees or stores your card details. We keep an anonymous daily visit counter that stores no IP addresses, no cookies, and no per-person browsing history.

What we do with it

We use your email to send the reports and alerts you asked for — nothing else. Every email includes a one-click unsubscribe. We use your phone number only for the text alerts you opted into and the one-time verification code that proves the number is yours.

What we never do

We do not sell or rent your personal information. We do not share your email address or phone number with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. We share data only with the service providers that make the product work (Stripe for payments, Resend for email delivery, Twilio for text delivery, Neon for our database), and only as needed to deliver what you signed up for.

Text messages (FishUT Pro)

Text alerts are an optional Pro feature with double opt-in: you enter your number on your My waters page, tick the consent box, and confirm with a 6-digit code we text you. Message frequency: up to 30 messages per month, driven by the alerts you configure. Message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile plan. Reply STOP at any time to opt out, or HELP for help — you can also turn texts off on your My waters page or email support@fishut.io. Opting out of texts never affects your email alerts or the rest of your account.

Deleting your data

Unfollow everything and unsubscribe and we have nothing left that identifies you. For a complete same-day deletion of every record tied to your address, email support@fishut.io.
