Fishing Minersville Reservoir: what to know
Minersville is a 1,100-acre reservoir on the Beaver River west of Beaver at 5,500 feet, a county park with camping and a ramp. It's managed as a trophy trout water — rainbows and cutthroat grow fast — with smallmouth bass on the rocks.
Ice-out through May from shore; summer early and late; fall excellent. Ice fishing in cold winters.
Fly rod with leeches and chironomids, or lures — Minersville has artificial flies and lures only with a restrictive trout limit and size rule to keep the fish big. See the regulations section below.
